I am in NY. Typically I would normally be jumping up and down with excitement - but I’m not. Today has been an emotionally draining day. Employee reductions took place at my job. It felt like I was on some reality competition show like Survivor or Big Brother. I am thankful I did not lose my job but so many good people did. Many of my work friends, people I consider as part of my family.

I have to keep thinking things happen for a reason. Maybe someday I’ll know what that reason is. For now, I’m just going to try to enjoy the weekend ahead of me. Good night peeps.
